Curtis Vaughan

1925 – 2005

Curtis Vaughan, Th.D., (1924–2005) retired as distinguished professor of New Testament at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995, where he had been a faculty for 45 years--and continued teaching for an additional five years after his retirement. Dr. Vaughan was author of commentaries on Acts, Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians, Philemon, James, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John. He also co-authored commentaries on Romans, 1 Corinthians, Jude, and 1 and 2 Peter, among other New Testament encyclopedias and commentaries.
